CREDIT's Senior Management Team
CREDIT’s senior management team consists of the General Manager, Operations Manager, Finance Manager, HR Manager, Audit Manager, IT Manager, and Marketing and Partnership Relation Manager.
Mr.Chan Mach, General Manager
Mach, the first local GM of CREDIT, was promoted from his Operations Manager position in 2006.
With a Bachelor of Mathematics and experience as a math teacher, Mach joined CREDIT initially in 1999 as the Auditor and Trainer. His managerial potential was recognized and he became the Phnom Penh Branch Manager in 2001. The branch flourished and in 2003 he was appointed the Operations Director. Under his leadership, CREDIT became sustainable and tripled the portfolio. Mach completed 2 Master Degrees: MBA and MFB. He attended nationally and internationally numerous courses related microfinance and banking.
Mr. PO Yort, Operations Manager
Yort was born in 1976. He joint CREDIT in August 2006. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance at National University of Management in 1999. He also completed a Master’s Degree in Management at Preston University, USA (affiliate in Phnom Penh) in 2004. He attended nationally and internationally numerous courses related microfinance and banking. He has experience in Administration and Accounting at the Local NGO level, and almost 7 years work experience in human resources, staff development and training and product development with a local MFI.
Mr. Soung Eng Chhay, Audit Manager
Chhay joined CREDIT in 1996 through the Kampong Cham branch. He has advanced quickly as a result of his hard work. He initially worked as the Translator, followed by the Branch Bookkeeper, the Deputy Branch Manager, Deputy General Manager and in 2006, he was promoted to be Audit Manager. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Management, and is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Management. He attended nationally and internationally numerous courses related microfinance and banking.
Mr. Him Vibol, Finance Manager
Born in 1980, Vibol was an outstanding university student, obtaining both his BBA and MBA degrees. In mid-2002, he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a specialization in Enterprise Management. Then, in December 2005, he graduated from his MBA program with a specialization in Finance and Accounting. Now he is pursuing ACCA. He attended nationally and internationally numerous courses related microfinance and banking. He joined CREDIT as an Internal Auditor in January 2003 and was quickly promoted to an Accountant in the Finance Department. Shortly thereafter, he was promoted to Finance Officer, responsible for managing the Finance Department. In January 2006, his substantial achievements were recognized, as he was appointed to Finance Manager.
Mr. Huy Bunhuot, Human Resource Manager
Bunhout, born on September 1st, 1975 was a scholarship student from law school. He holds two Bachelor’s Degrees from two different universities. In late 1999, he graduated his first scholarship Bachelor’s Degree from the Royal University of Law and Economics with a specialization in Law. Then, in August 2006, he graduated from his second sponsored degree, a Bachelor of Education from Royal University of Phnom Penh. He attended nationally and internationally numerous courses related microfinance and banking. He joined CREDIT in 2000 as Administrative Assistant and in October 2003, he was promoted to an Administrator. After that, he was promoted to HR Officer/ Administrator. In Oct 2006, his substantial achievements were recognized, as he was appointed Human Resources Manager.
Mr. Heang Kim, Marketing and Partnership Relation Manager
Kim was born in 1980 in Kandal province. With a BBA in marketing and an MBA in management, Kim has an addition 8 years experience in the management of marketing and research. His work has included customer relationship management (CRM). He set up and managed the Marketing Department at CREDIT in 2008. He attended nationally and internationally numerous courses related microfinance and banking.
Mr. Sok Kimchhay, IT Manager
Kimchhay was born in 1981 in Phnom Penh. Kimchhay graduated with a Bachelors Degree from the Royal University of Phnom Penh, specialized in Computer Science and Engineering. He completed numerous course in Computer Management, Advance IT project management, Security, Database Programming, Network Infrastructure and Cisco. He started his career in several IT related positions at CREDIT in 2004. Prior to this, he had worked as computer lecturer and programmer for a year. He is currently pursuing a Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification from the United Kingdom’s Association of Charted Certified Accountants and MsIT. He attended nationally and internationally numerous courses related microfinance and banking. In January 2008, his substantial achievements were recognized and he was appointed to IT Manager.
