CREDIT's Senior Management Team

CREDIT’s senior management team consists of the General Manager, Operations Manager, Finance Manager, HR Manager, Audit Manager, IT Manager, and Marketing and Partnership Relation Manager.

Mr.Chan Mach, General Manager

Mach is the current and the first local General Manager being appointed to CREDIT. He was promoted to the position from his previous Operation’s Manager Post.

With a Bachelor of Mathematic and his experience as Math’s Teacher, Mach joined CREDIT initially in 1999 as the Auditor and Trainer. His talent as a manager was recognized and he became Phnom Penh Branch Manager in 2001. The branch flourished and in 2003 he was appointed as the Operations Director. Under his leadership, CREDIT became sustainable and tripled the portfolio. Mach completed one MBA and is pursuing another MFB.

Mr. PO Yort, Operations Manager

Yort was born in 1976. He jointed CREDIT in August 2006. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Accounting and Finance at National University of Management in 1999, and Master’s Degree in the field of Management at Preston University, USA (affiliate in Phnom Penh) in 2004. He has one year experience in Administration and Accounting at Local NGO, and almost 7 years work experiences in human resources, staff development and training, and product development, with a local MFI.

Mr. Soung Eng Chhay, Audit Manager

Chhay joined CREDIT in 1996 through Kampong Cham branch. His story is one of advancement through hard work: he initially worked as the Translator, followed as the Branch Bookkeeper, then as the Deputy and Branch Manager, and finally as the Deputy General Manager. He obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with the specialization in Management and is now studying his Master’s Degree (MBA) in field of Management. He has completed numerous courses related to microfinance conducted by EDA, CIB and BRI. He was promoted to be Audit Manager since September, 2006.

Mr. Him Vibol, Finance Manager

Born in 1980, Vibol was an outstanding university student, obtaining both his BBA and MBA degrees. In mid-2002, he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics with a Specialization in Enterprise Management and in December 2005 graduated from his MBA program with a Specialization in Finance and Accounting. He studied numerous courses related to microfinance conducted by the Cambodia Institute of Banking (CIB), Cambodian Microfinance Association (CMA), and Boulder Microfinance Training in Italy. He joined CREDIT as an Internal Auditor in Jan 2003 and was shortly thereafter promoted to be an Accountant in the Finance Department. Thereafter, he was promoted to Finance Officer, responsible for managing the Finance Department. In Jan 2006, his substantial achievements were recognized as he was appointed Finance Manager.

Mr. Huy Bunhuot, Human Resource Manager

Bunhout, born on Sep 1st, 1975 was a scholarship law university student. He holds two Bachelor’s Degrees from two different universities. In late 1999, he graduated his first scholarship Bachelor’s Degree from Royal University of Law and Economics with a specialization in Law and in Aug 2006 graduated from his fee paying Bachelor of Education from Royal University of Phnom Penh. He joined CREDIT in 2000 as Administrative Assistant and in Oct 2003 he was promoted to be an administrator. After that he was promoted to be HR Officer/Administrator. In Oct 2006, his substantial achievements were recognized as he was appointed Human Resource Manager.

Mr. Heang Kim, Marketing and Partnership Relation Manager

Kim was born in 1980 in Kandal province. Kim has so far earned over 6- year experience in financial sector by working in marketing management, partner relation and funding mobilization, and research. Kim was the marketing officer for CREDIT for 3 years, 2002- 2005 and another 3 years, he worked for VisionFund (Cambodia) in the posts of Resource Acquisition and Marketing Coordinator and later on was appointed as the Social Performance and Integration Manager. He started working for CREDIT again in Oct 2008.

Kim obtained his BBA in Marketing from Maharishi Vedic University and an MBA from Build Bright University. He has also attended in many courses and workshops related to microfinance sector.

Mr. Sok Kimchhay, IT Manager
